Leadership Structure
As you consider investing your heart, time, family, and finances in a church, it is important for you to feel confident in church leadership. Our goal in sharing the details of Rhythm Church’s government is that you will understand that our church is structured to support the values of integrity, accountability, and spiritual authority.
Every church needs a corporate structure to support a thriving spiritual body. While the corporate structure serves, provides, and protects the spiritual body, the spiritual body must always lead the way and have the primary place in the affairs of the Church.
Our church government is made up of three groups.

Our church government is made up of three groups.
We are guided by pastors.
The pastoral team is led by the Lead Pastor. This team oversees the day-to-day ministry and operations of the church. These pastors serve the congregation and are responsible for the development of the spiritual life of the church.
We are protected by trustees & elders
The Trustees are non-staff members appointed by the Lead Pastor to oversee the finances of the church. Trustees serve in 4 year terms. They provide accountability and counsel to the Lead Pastor as well as protection for the church regarding major fiduciary commitments of the church.
We are strengthened by overseers
The Overseers are pastors of respected congregations who love Rhythm Church and are willing to provide spiritual protection to the church. They may be called in to help in accountability matters relating to the Lead Pastor if requested by the Elders or Trustees.

It can be limiting, trying to explain yourself in only words and historical accomplishments. People have much more depth than a few paragraphs can contain. We’d much rather have conversations. Find a time to get to know us! We’d love to connect.
